Their tremendous influence on innumerable coaches and athletes alike, on all levels of atheletics, has been widely recognized and respected for the role it has played in the development of this important field. Organized strength and conditioning programs have undoubtedly made competitive athletics more explosive and more exciting as athletes have made great improvements in strength, power, speed, speed endurance, and body control. These programs have been extremely effective in reducing the rate of athletic injuries as well.
